Afterlife Research
The Windbridge Institute is currently the only research organization in the world whose primary focus is afterlife research. We are concerned with asking:
- What happens when we die?
- Can mediums really communicate with the deceased?
- How can afterlife research benefit those who are grieving or those about to transition?
What You Get
To thank you for your support, Windbridge is pleased to offer Supporting Members:
- A one-year subscription to our quarterly e-newsletter, Winds of Change, which includes fascinating articles from some of the field's most influential researchers; updates on original Windbridge research and publications; and institute news
- Access to back issues of Winds of Change
- Member-only e-mail offers and updates
Enhanced Memberships also include discounts on Windbridge events and access to the Windbridge online community or "groupsite." The groupsite can be thought of as an invitation-only, more secure, advertisement-free, searchable version of popular social networking sites where Enhanced Members as well as Windbridge Researchers and Advisors and Windbridge Certified Research Mediums can connect. Why Windbridge?
Efficient: Overhead costs are kept low to ensure the most funds directly support research.
Effective: In the two short years since opening its doors, the Windbridge Institute quickly established itself as a leader in afterlife research. Windbridge researchers have published articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Parapsychology, Transpersonal Psychology Review, and Journal of Scientific Exploration and have presented at the Toward a Science of Consciousness conference and scientific meetings of the Parapsychological Association and the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness.
Connected: The international Windbridge Scientific Advisory Board includes 17 researchers, authors, editors, and leaders in fields including near-death experiences, reincarnation, non-local consciousness, parapsychology, and ghosts and hauntings. Windbridge Director of Research, Dr. Julie Beischel, is a full member of the Society for Scientific Exploration and the Parapsychological Association and serves on the scientific advisory boards of the Rhine Research Center and the Forever Family Foundation. In addition, she has been an invited speaker at meetings of the Society for Scientific Exploration, the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), the Rhine Research Center, and the San Diego Bereavement Consortium.
Innovative: Research areas include the use of afterlife communication in grief recovery, mediums' accuracy rates under controlled conditions, explorations of mediums' experiences during communication with the deceased, and how technology can be used to interact with the deceased. Outside of afterlife research, our research interests include non-human animal consciousness, remote viewing, near-death experiences, and applied intuition and intention.
Respected:
"The research that takes place at Windbridge has been judged by international peers to be important and reflects the Institute's commitment to conducting world-class science."
--Dean Radin, PhD
Senior Scientist, IONS
"...Beischel herself has played a major role in strengthening the methods used in this field and her research exemplifies her rigor and sophistication."
Daryl Bem, PhD
Professor Emeritus of Psychology, Cornell University
"The Windbridge Institute reinforces Dr. Kübler Ross' vision in the fields of grief counseling and hospice care: that taking care of the spirit is as important as taking care of the mind and the body."
Yolaine M. Stout
Founder and President, American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences (ACISTE)
"The Windbridge Institute serves as a beacon for future discovery."
Robert Ginsberg
Vice-President, Forever Family Foundation
Far Reaching: With a focus on applied research, we take our findings out of the lab to develop new training methods, treatment modalities, and technologies and get them into the hands of the people who can use them most: you!
Help Windbridge continue performing innovative research, bringing our findings to the public, and developing practical applications that will best serve all living things.
